Psalms 5:11- But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
This Bible verse is showing you step three- being joyful.
I will give you a list of things why you should be joyful-
1. Jesus is in your heart.
2. You have the assurence that you are going to heaven some day.
3. God is on your side.
4. God is here to protect you.
5. God can do anything.
There are a number of things why you should be joyful. People think that Christians should always be sad and serious, but those people aren't right. Christians should be happy. There are some times when you just can't help it to be sad, but thats not wrong. The bible says that there are times for laughter and times for tears.
God wants you to be joyful. Isn't it right that you should obay God? Well then, you should be joyful.
I love laughing, smiling and being joyful! I have never personally met someone that doesn't like to laugh or have fun. That's a good thing. People should be happy and joyful.
Another reason you should be joyful is that if you're joyful, it's like a wild fire, it spreads throughout people.
The most importent thing is what I listed above- God wants you to be joyful. God loves you and cares for you and he wants the best for you. If not for anything else, be joyful because God wants you to.
